The National Weather extended a flash flood warningfor Lafayette until 12:45 p.m. Wednesday after severe weather related to the remnants of once-Tropical Storm Rafael flooded roadways and canceled school.
Some streets were impassable Wednesday morning andthe flooding led to Lafayette Parish School Systemclosing for theday.
