this is really exciting. 💫As a lighting designer I always seek to create spaces for people improving the user experience, well-being and atmosphere. Designing with a holistic approach and for the people using the spaces.Being involved in the PerCiLight project is a personal milestone and a very special one. If you want to know why? Keep on reading.👉 during university I investigated a great amount of time understanding the visual and non-visual effects of light. And it still accompanies and influences my design thinking.👉 guess what the topic of my thesis was 🤓 👉 back in the time, technology was not yet ready to apply all the findings.👉 but the demand to utilise science, technology and design to develop better and healthier living and working spaces was already there👉 over the years, research has proved the impact and importance of light on our health and well-being.👉 and technology has evolved as well👉 beyond that, a mutual understanding and awareness for the importance of dynamic lighting and the right light at the right time has finally arrived in society.💫 so here we are, about 20years later, there is finally a project, where everything comes together and lighting design can make a lasting impact improving the quality of space and the quality of life for elderly and the staff in elderly care homes.🙏 kudos to the project team from PerCiLight for the great collaboration and innovative thinking🙏 kudos to AAL Progam and the EU funding programs as well as Innosuisse for supporting this innitiative🙏 last but not least - special thanks goes to the staff at Bauneparken Care Center for believing in the benefits of dynamic lighting and the tireless commitment and care ❤️.#innovation #Percilight #dynamiclighting #aal #innosuisse #eldercare #grateful #therightlightattherighttime #lightingdesign #value #valuecreation #forabetterfuture
